Per the advice of one of my favorite comedians, Doug Benson, I had my first McDonald's McGriddles experience yesterday, and here's my two cents. The Positive: 1. The flavors work well together. I mean, what could go wrong with a syrup-infused bun made out of pancake batter? 2. The savory egg and cheese did a good job balancing the sweet of each McGriddle. 3. The sandwich seemed more portable than an egg and cheese biscuit. I wasn't worried about crumbs falling and leaving oil stains on a nice shirt or tie. The Negative: 1. The McGriddle buns were cold. (I'll chalk this up to the fact that I ordered this at 10:26 AM, four minutes before the breakfast cut-off.) 2. As you can see from the photo, the bun was smushed just a tad.
